Is Planning Permission needed for a Garden Room if

it has a roof lantern?

A roof lantern does have to be included in the overall height measurement so Planning Permission is often required when the lower 2.5m limit applies.

This is the case even if the roof lantern itself is over 2m from the curtilage boundaries.
